In the final race of the season, Andy hopes to break his bad luck with a good finish without any problems. This sadly isn’t the case as Andy heads out for practice and comes back with oil badly leaking out of the engine. The crew tries to fix it but the problem remains. Rather than trying to find the problem, the crew decides its best to switch engines and work on the leaking motor later. The Peppicelli’s, owners of the #11 Bandolero Outlaw, lend the KBR an engine for the day.

The crew quickly got the engine in the car and got Andy out for his heat just in time. Andy starts first and goes on to lead every lap of the heat and starts the Feature on the outside pole. Andy maintains second until he slides out of one corner and loses the spot. He tries to regain the position, but maintains 3rd place. He ends up 3rd in points, 1 point behind 2nd place. An exciting finish for a great season for the Ken Brown Racing Crew.
