After Fridays poor showing at the track, the Ken Brown Racing Crew works overtime to get the Twister Bandolero back in contention for a win. Finishing just in time, KBR heads out to CMP for the first Saturday race of the fall series.
At the track, Andy draws a bad number and has to start last in the heat race. He works his way up to 4th when the top 3 cars wreck. Coming out unscathed, Andy restarts the heat in first and finishes second. Starting 3rd in the feature has everyone excited.
Held up by a slower car in front of him, Andy fakks to 6th. From there, he is continuously blocked for the remainder of the race. Tonight is better than last week, but another finish outside the top 5 adds to the frustration.
