Concord Motorsport Park: August 29th
Today is a big day for Ken Brown Racing. Kenny and Andy will be racing the same car tonight in their respective classes. Tonight will be a little frantic, and a ton of fun.
Kenny begins his heat race in 3rd, and Andy begins his in 6th. Andy, the veteran KBR driver at Concord, finishes 3rd in his heat race, and Kenny finishes 4th. A 3rd place finish for Andy means a 5th place starting position in the feature race. Kenny will start 4th in his feature race. Both drivers are in for a fun night at CMP.
Kenny's race starts off well. Falling into line, Kenny works patiently at 3rd place when the #38 car spins in front of him. Avoiding the wreck moves Kenny into third. Stalking second, Kenny is unable to complete the pass by the time the checkered falls. In his second career start at Concord, Kenny brings home his 4th top 3 of 2008.
A long break between the Outlaw and Young Gun feature races gives the #14 Bandolero a chance to cool off before Andy tears up the track. Beginning the feature in 5th, Andy works steadily and patiently. His hard work pays off when he passes two cars to land himself in third for the finish. Another great night at Concord earns KBR two top three finishes, a feat never accomplished before.
