Concord Motorsport Park: September 6th

Two Cars = Twice the Racing Action

After last week's great dual 3rd place finish for KBR, everyone is excited to see Kenny and Andy now in their own seperate cars to compete at Concord.  Andy begins his heat race on the outside pole, and Kenny in 3rd.  Unfortunately for Andy, a carburetor problem ends his qualifying heat early, and a near collision with the 17 resulting in a spin, relegates Kenny to 6th in his heat.  Determined to recreate last weeks spectacular finish, Kenny and Andy will have to give it their all in each of their respective features.

Kenny's 15 lap feature race begins well.  Within 3 laps he has made his way up to 4th place, but the leaders have pulled away.  The race ends without cautions, and Kenny is not able to make up the lost ground.  However, a 4th place finish in a car new to Kenny is still welcome.

The Bandolero Young Guns feature does not run so flawless.  Andy starts in last due to the mechanical problems in the heat race, but is soon making his way up the field.  Unfortunately, Andy is spun out by the 11 car as he tries to make the pass.  With a few swift kicks at the bumper, Andy is all straightened out, and ready to get on track just before the green waves.  With few laps left in the race, Andy can only find his way back to 8th place.
