Concord Motorsport Park: March 21st
The day begins with high hopes and high exectations. After last weeks impressive finish, Andy has his eyes set on another top 3. This week, there is no chance of rain, which is openly welcomed after 2 of the last 3 races have been rained out. Joining us this week is Aunt Peggy, Uncle Bob, and Cousin Ryan.
After a short practice session, Andy hits the track for his qualifying heat. Andy begins the race in 3rd, and finishes in 4th, which earns him a 7th place starting spot in the feature race.
The field is set, and the Young Guns Bandolero class hits the track. Keeping pace, Andy maintains his position until he is involved in a 5 car accident on lap 3. By continuin the race, he moved into 3rd place. Unfortunately, the accident has caused the car to become harder to drive, and he falls to 6th place. Pushing the #14 to its limits, Andy maintains 6th place; and impressive finish for the amount of damage he sustained in the wreck. A little sore, but not discouraged, Andy can't wait to hit the track next week.
