It’s a scorching 88 degrees outside and the Ken Brown Racing crew is ready to race. Andy is breaking in brand new tires and trying to find a good setup for the car. In both practice sessions, the car is very loose. Trying slight adjustments, the crew tries to bring the car back to a competitive state.

Unfortunately, the changes weren’t enough. In the heat race, Andy finishes in 6th place, which lands him in last place. The crew decides to go big on the changes to attempt to alleviate the loose condition.

With a long race ahead of him, Andy starts the feature. This time, however, the car is extremely tight. Andy fights to maintain a handle on the car, and can’t make up any ground. Settling for 11th place, Andy is disappointed. We’ll have to do better next week.
