Race two of the Shootout is a scorcher!  The air temperature is 98 degrees with a track temperature of 140 degrees.  Dedicated race fans Matt, Stacie, and Matthew have joined the Ken Brown Racing team in the pits, while Dan, Jan, Jace, and Nate cheer us on in the grandstands.  Kenny starts the feature race in 21^st position.  Lap 14 brings out the yellow caution flag and Kenny avoids getting caught up in the mess.  Neighbor, 2-year-old Matthew, watches in the pit area grandstands and yells “Go Kenny go!” every time he makes another lap.  A multiple car incident at lap 18 brings out the red flag.  Kenny has, once again, driven expertly through the carnage.  He finishes the race in 6^th place, which places him 10^th in the points standings.
