The  weather is beautiful for the last day of the Quaker Steak and Lube Summer Shootout 2008.  Last night, the crew had a very productive and successful practice, and everyone is anticipating a good race.  For Kenny, every position from 2nd to 4th is a possible finish in points.  Sitting in 3rd, he is right on the edge!  Joining us today is Kenny's co-workers Mark and Jason from Detroit Speed and Engineering, as well as his boss and sponsor Kyle.

After finishing second in his heat race, Kenny starts the feature race in 3rd position.  Dropping to 4th, a caution is called on track.  A bad choose puts Kenny back to 5th when the flag drops.  Quickly another caustion is called, and Kenny is caught out on the choose again.  Falling all the way to 7th, he has a lot of ground to make up, which he does.  Keeping a steady pace, driving aggressivly, and making smart moves, Kenny makes his way up to 4th place to finish out the race.  Unfortuantely this isn't good enough to keep his 3rd place points position, and he falls to 4th in points.  We can't complain too much, this is Kenny's best Summer Shootout Points Finish to date.
