Quaker Steak and Lube Summer Shootout: Race 2

After last weeks disappointing finish, and hours spent troubleshooting the problems in the car, Kenny is ready to redeem himself. Practice on Monday night only proved that the problems persisted after the weeks repairs, so early Tuesday morning KBR was working on the Twister Bandolero again. Hopefully the car is fixed, and Kenny can regain some points.
Starting 4th in his heat, Kenny races hard but the problems persist. Even with a crippled engine, he pulls off a 3rd place finish in the heat. However, the engine only gets worse as the race goes on. The #14 Bandolero begins the A-feature in 6th place, but quickly falls out of the top 10. Keeping the deteriorating car on the track as long as possible, Kenny is able to salvage a 10th place finish by outlasting several drivers who were wrecked out before Kenny was forced to come off the track at lap 15. The frustration only continues in the KBR shop.
