Quaker Steak and Lube Summer Shootout: Race 3

After two disappointing races plagued with engine problems, Kenny and the crew are looking forward to race three of the Quaker Steak and Lube Summer Shootout. This time, they believe the engine is right. The only thing to do is try it out. The engine runs beautifully in the qualifying heat. So well that Kenny became over ambitious and tried to pass four wide going into turn one on the first lap. This resulted in a spin, leaving Kenny stranded a half lap down in last place. He will also start in last for the A-feature.
With a lot of work to do, and a little more control, Kenny passes car after car, lap after lap, eventually placing him in 6th place. A competitor's spin brings Kenny into 5th where he will remain until the checkered flag flies. This is Ken Brown Racing's first top 5 finish in the Summer Shootout, and every can't wait for next week.
