Quaker Steak and Lube Summer Shootout: Race 7

The day began hot and ended with a bang... of thunder that is. Unhappy with his car, Kenny finished 5th in his heat race earning him a 10th place starting position. However, with the Bandolero Outlaws on the grid, the skies opened up. Tonight's race has been postponed until next week.

First up is the Bandolero Outlaw class to race in the hottest part of the night. With a track temperature of 140 degrees, Kenny sets out in 10th place. Tonight the Twister Bandolero has a new decal in honor of Kenny and Andy's grandpa. With skillful and careful driving he is able to work his way into a strong 4th place finish. With an amazing streak of five top 5 finishes, Kenny gains some points on 3rd place in the championship points.
