Winter Heat Series: Race 2 It's another chilly morning outside Lowe's Motor Speedway, but the crew is ready to race. After making a few setup changes , the crew is expecting a good finish. However, I had the misfortune of drawing last starting position in the 1st heat race. My finishes in the 2 heat races got me a 5th place starting spot in the 14 car feature. The crew makes some last minute changes and hopes for the best. Unfortunately the changes didn't help and I had to race with a really loose race car. Within 6 laps I lost 5th spot, but on the second to last lap the 5th place car spun in front of me. I got the position and held on for my second top 5 of the Winter Heat Series. |
