Braving the bitter cold, Ken Brown Racing trudges to the track.  This time, however, they come armed with a new heater for the trailer.  Today looks to be a good day for KBR, but little did we know how many problems we would face.

 

 

 

After dialing the car in during practice, Kenny is confident.  A mid pack starting position in both heats isn't encouraging, but we are ready to go.  The first heat goes without mishap.  Kenny finishes fifth.  The second heat started the same as the first.  Kenny worked his way up, but on the second to last lap was wrecked by another car.  Unfortunately, Kenny will have to start in 8th place in the main event.

 

 

 

Little did we know, the feature was going to be just as challenging.  Due to making contact with another car and near spin five laps into the race, the brakes failed on the #14  car.  Kenny now has to finish out the last 15 laps without brakes!   Luckily, he holds on for a fifth place finish, which is all we can ask for.
